Moisture resistance	Of all materials used for insulation, Barnes EPS is one of the most resistant to the adverse effects of moisture.
Lightweight but strong	The excellent compressive and flexural strength of Barnes EPS gives it an exceptionally high strength to weight ratio.
Durable	Barnes EPS is an inert and organic material and does not rot, is resistant to mildew and provides no nutritional value to ants, termites and rodents.
Fire retardant	Barnes EPS does not present an undue fire hazard when correctly installed due to the fire retardant additive included during manufacture.
Building versatility	Barnes EPS can be used in almost any application where insulation or a combination of insulation and strength are required.
